Sunrise July 7th, ’10
In the last three days, and raining as I speak, we’ve received 3.03″ of rain by this 8:15 PM. The sunrise was marvelous, simply marvelous(!), as a fisherman enjoyed its splendor with me as I awoke to look out about 5-ish. From the benchmark now established at our shore, I can determine that the water, in those last three days, has risen some 2 1/2″; hopes of a resurgence of rising lake level.
More rain projected Thursday. Then, a fine weekend outlook forecast.
Be that as it may, the beautiful sunrise, red, by the way, was indicative of advancing rain; and that it did; started out with previous 2.64″ from the two days prior. Roger

Another beautiful pic for my desktop at work! Looking at the lake always makes my days much more pleasant especially during the winter when we can’t get up there.
