2nd Annual KLAA “Cardboard Boat Race”!

I have a moment to post some pics of the “… Race”! I’ll add more text and info later when I get the names of contestants and winners and have more time–names will be forwarded to me. So stand by!

The event was a great success with loads of laughs and cheering! Congrats to the KLAA for initiating a community event where EVERYONE can join in.When we started the Naiad Ski Club in ’79, generally only avid and accomplished skiers signed up, although many spectators showed up on shore and in boats offshore in the “Parking Area” (dingy anchored indicating safe area away from action). The Cardboard Boat Race accommodates all comers! Thanks to organizers and contestants/competitors for giving Kelly Lake another fun-filled day that brings us together.

Also, I’ll get the new facet for the site to view video as mentioned before; the works are in the making and it could take 24 to 48 hours after the account is set up to view the videos.
