We all celebrated Kelly Lake’s wild and crazy Paul and his lovely wife’s (Ar) Van Zeeland’s 50TH WEDDING anniversary last night at Romy’s Holiday Inn. What a grand time with so many Kelly Lake friends and Van Zeeland family members! Wishing you many more, Paul and Ar! Rog and Shirley

I find this picture very interesting. I’m a Kelly Lake oldtimer. Spent my summers there when I was a kid (1944-1960). I was friends with Chuck and Gary Van Zeeland. Paul was older and I didn’t really know him, although my older sister, Brenda, did. I think Chuck and Gary are in the picture, although it’s hard to tell after such a long time.
A few years back one of my wife’s nephews introduced me to his girlfriend, Heather, from Little Chute, Wisconsin. I said do you know any Van Zeelands? She said yes I am one! Well they are married now. So I related to the Van Zeelands through marriage.
