New Station Added to Weatherunderground PWS Network
Rog – I finally broke down and picked up a weather station from Ambient Weather, setup is easier than fallin’ off a log. Now we just have to get your station online.

KL site updates…
Just an FYI – updated site to WP version 2.9.2 (latest) – updated & customized site theme – enabled comments for posts & pages – installed CAPTCHA plugin for comment verification – added facebook sharing function – performed security check. Might take a drive up next week, since the weather looks like it may reach 70! Ya gotta love global warming!

KL Site Inoculated
Recently there have been attempts to hack the WordPress installation on KellyLake.net and while the site was temporarily infected with a common base 64 wordpress hack, the perpetrator has been isolated; your admin account has been deleted and the mess you made to our code corrected. You have to wonder about the mindset of someone who spends their time hacking into tiny community websites.
Anyway, Rog I got the email message and fixed it right away. I also did an upgrade to WP 2.9.1 (the latest version) BTW, I’m 99.999999% sure that this has nothing to do with your local PC problems, but I’ve been known to be wrong .0000001% of the time. ;^D Steve
BTW: If you experience any other odd website behavior or redirects to other pages, browser warnings etc. please let Roger know.
We’ll stick with the vanilla wordpress theme right now until some new clean themes come out. Corrupt themes can also be a backdoor into the wordpress installation.

Full Wolf Moon 2010
Nice webcam shot of the full Wolf Moon 2010 – which is 14% larger and 30% brighter than normal due to the fact that it’s orbit has it 17,000 miles closer to Earth. Wow! Also known as a perigee moon, this month’s lunar spectacle is also featured at Spaceweather.com along with many more astronomical facts.
