Two Stand-up Guys and a Truck!

I want to personally endorse two young men and their business. Last fall they approached me to seal my asphalt; it definitely needed it; we were going to do it ourselves. With little arm twisting after their quote, Shirley and I said go ahead.

However, spring came around and sections of the sealant left with winter. We were dismayed and thought we had little recourse, when yesterday they showed up to see if we were satisfied. I said, lets take a look… Eric, Jesse and I inspected both drives—one on the otherside of the road, also–and they felt the coating unsatisfactory as well. No debate, they said they would make it right and commenced to reseal our drive (no charge); the one across the road weathered the season just fine.

These two young ‘stand-up’ businessmen are professional with top-of-the-line, well-maintained equipment. Their business ethics are applaudable. They could have stopped, looked, saw the deterioration and drove on. But, they’re conscientious and stood behind their product and work. It seems a rarity nowadays, that’s why I openly endorse them. …”The Pampered Chef”! Shannon Neubauer stopped over with this invite to an ‘open house’ to see what’s new for the summer in the kitchens of Kelly Lake! You know, as a retired Professional Firefighter from Manitowoc, I had to learn how to cook for some pretty finicky fellows! I’d like to think I’m a pretty good cook! With that said, I, personally, would like to see what Shannon is offering to add to my menu! Sounds like a good time, anyway! “Joe’s Recycling” and now “Lot of Deals LLC”!

Perhaps you’ve noticed that Joe’s used car lot, “Lot of Deals LLC”, has grown from a few cars a while back, to quite a selection of used cars, trucks and vans. Joe has the vehicles thoroughly checked by certified independent inspectors.

Everything from A to Z!

With Christmas around the corner, Kelly Lake’s Ron Asp and Steve Zeh ( Kelly Lake’s “A to Z Home Improvements”) have been working for several weeks improving Birr’s Eye View; doing everything from a to z. A to Z have worked several years for Shirley and I fixing, changing and improving our home and property. We’ve been quite pleased with their quality work.

I fly at 50,000 feet when I tell Ron and Steve what I would like done. They fly at treetop level and say, “Well, then this is what we have to do!”

Presently, they’re seen adding custom oak shelving (lower shelf and upper, long shelf). A to Z, it looks great! Through the years, their work has included cement, landscaping, installing outdoor spa, patio doors and standard, staircases, etc, all done with a craftsman’s eye and skill.
