Fall Colors
I have not yet stopped by KL on my annual color tour, but I did take a ride up to Bayfield, WI the last 2 days and can tell you that they are very near or past peak in those areas. The Eagle River area is just about at peak, but as you travel further south, the colors are not quite there yet. I need to drive up to Rogers ASAP to get that camera back online so everyone can see for themselves. Today is October fest in Appleton, and tomorrow the Packers play, so the next trip up would be possibly Monday if the weather cooperates.
Guess Rog has not yet figured out how to post, otherwise you would have a nice report and photos from the Birr’s Eye View.
IMHO, this week would bea good week to see the emerging color, next week should be at peak unless wind and rain in the forecast blows everying down.
