POTD: For those car buffs or classic car aficionados!
As mentioned in a previous POTD, Shirley and I visited an ol’ friend, Tim Ulrich (Area Manager of Hoover Dam) out west at Hoover Dam. Seen here is me standing alongside Tim’s ’56 Ford, complete with original 292 c.i V-8 Thunderbird engine with “three on the tree”(three speed on the colomn)! My dad owned a ’55 and ’57 Ford. My first car when I was 16 (42 years ago!) was a ’54 Ford with 260 c.i. V-8. We cruised the back roads and interstate in Tim’s ’56; looks and runs fantastic! What a ride with memories! Along with us were old high school friend and his wife, Terry and Lana Ernst. We all got together at Tim’s. Coincidentally, Terry is in business dealing and selling with classic cars! Going through the photos for a POTD, I thought some of you old-timers would enjoy this! Rog
