POTD: Great Blue Heron
On a pontoon cruise, Shirley and I were able to get within feet of this heron. It seemed oblivious to us as it stalked a fish; motionless even with our approach for several minutes. You can detect its eye seemingly focused at the water and its prey. Shortly after this shot, the heron caught the fish and flew off. Roger
