Low water levels
The water levels on the lake are really low this year. I generally shovel off an area right near the shorline for ice skating at the ice fishing derby in January. There’s no water there this year so no ice there. We’re going to move further out or bring sandbox toys

Oconto Falls Ambulance Service
I received this email from Bob Parisey. Some of you know I’m a retired Professional Manitowoc Fire Fighter and also worked on the department’s Rescue Squad. I know how the local First Responders up here need revenue to keep up their equipment, training, etc. Both Shirley and I have had to call on their services in the past. Hopefully you won’t need it! Dick, the cove is pretty much frozen over. I think the rest of the lake would be also, except for the strong winds. Cold today; don’t care to venture out!! Snow storm predicted–4 to 7″! Arrggghh! Gonna get the snowblower ready. Rog
