These pics and text sent from Don Baryenbruch. I had to share them with you because many don’t know the ravage the Great Lakes can incur. We sailed over the Fitzgerald in ’96; it went down in November of ’75 off of Whitefish Point on Lake Superior, taking 29 crew members to their icy graves–never to be recovered. The Edmund was 726′ long:

Pop Ryan turns 94 this week. We had a little warm up yesterday for the big day. He first introduced us to Kelly Lake in 1955. Go Pop!
