I received an email from Kelly Lake’s Pat Patterson asking that I keep him updated on events here at Kelly Lake. I see Steve “The Kelly Lake Webmeister” (my web site mentor) has included a page for “Local Events”. I’ll start using it whenever…
You’re also able to post on this blog along with “Local Events”. Just register (it’s free), click on “Write a Post” and click “Local Events” after you post your event or notice! Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions. We have Oconto Falls Friends of the Arts coming up (see Local Events). Roger

This photo taken while in my hometown Two Rivers on Lake Michigan by Shirley Birr. I have a lot of fond memories sailing, boating and swimming there; not so inviting mid-winter! Roger

I’m sure many of you Wiscosinites felt the effects of the storm that moved through yesterday (2-17). I understand many south got freezing rain and mix. It was all snow here at Kelly Lake.
I don’t have an exact total of inches from snowstorm “Isabella”, but it was a lot here at Kelly Lake; I’m guessing at least a foot of snow. Shirley and I were out three times clearing snow to stay ahead of it. Shirley’s seen here clearing the decks at Birr’s Eye View! I did the drives with the the big blower, albeit a rider (I got the better deal!). A friend in Madison says he has seen more than he cares to down there, as they set records this wintry season!
Think spring! This winter is getting old! Oh! By the way, it’s snowing again; 1-3″ predicted! Rog

Long time friend from grade school through high school, Bill Glandt (from my hometown, Two Rivers) turned 59! Seen here celebrating at Bill’s in Two Rivers are Sue and Tim Ulrich (who were visiting from Cedar City, Utah–also classmates), myself, Shirley, Bill and wife Sherri (left to right)! Happy 59th, Bill! Roger and the “Frat Pack”!

Kelly Lake’s Karen Lutz
sent me this notice of an upcoming event. We’re members and enjoyed all of the excellent performers the “Friends of the Arts” have brought to our small community. Perhaps you’ll be in the area the 23rd to take in what I expect to be another night of fine entertainment! It’s a short drive from Kelly Lake to the relatively new Oconto Falls High School auditorium; excellent audio and visual. Hope to see you there! Roger
