Common mergansers and mallards back on open water!

We’ve been working on getting a second web cam set up on the eastside of the lake at Dave Fichenscher’s. With the two cams, you’d be able to see the lake from sunrise to sunset and everything in between! Dave’s retired, which means he’ll be able to reset the cam on occassions of outages or spikes and make periodic adjustments. I’ve talked with Steve (the Kelly Lake Webmeister and Administrator) about costs. A cam can be purchased for about $175; then, you need the software, wiring, cam enclosure, etc. We’re looking for funding for the eastshore web cam. It would view basically west with wide angle lens. Steve, perhaps you could add anything I’ve left out!
The sunset photo is from Dave’s where the cam would be mounted. Thanks, Dave, for the photo and site help. Roger
