Terry lives near the Holiday Inn and has kept an eye on our community for decades. His last day on the force was 4/9/’08. He’s also served as our Spruce Town Chairman. Thanks, Terry!

Dick, the ice is receding and turning dark. Some of the fish cribs have already sunk. This week the temps will be near 70! Gonna start getting the deck furniture out; spring has sprung! Rog

It looks like the ice is going away from the webcam. What a winter. I’m glad to see it go. I am almost done with tax season and may be able to get back to the lake soon.

A longtime performer in our area, Kelly Lake’s Mike Marnacha will be performing with the Orv Konop 4-piece “OK Combo” Sunday, April 27th at the Klondike Saloon from 1 to 5 PM. Mike is seen upper left. Admission is free! Take a break from your spring cleanup for some fun and entertainment. The OK Combo does a variety of polkas and waltzs. Shirley and I will be there! Roger

Though Shirley didn’t win, she was given recognition at the “Lake Home & Cabin Show” photo contest this last weekend at the Coliseum in Madison. It was her first photo contest. There were over 4,000 entries. We stayed with and were escorted by Kelly Lake’s Dave and Peg Winkler from McFarland–nearby Madison. The ‘Show’ is quite a big event. We had an extended tour of Madison and the Captial thanks to Dave and Peggy. Thanks guys! Roger
