MISSOULA CHILDREN’S THEATRE HOLDS AUDITIONS IN OCONTO FALLS ON AUGUST 4
Auditions for Missoula Children’s Theatre’s production of HANSEL and GRETEL will be held on Monday, August 4 beginning promptly at 9 a.m. in the Oconto Falls High School Wrestling room. Auditions are open to area students entering grades 1 through grade 12. Children who audition do not have to prepare anything. The first rehearsal will follow the audition and rehearsals will continue throughout the week. The schedule for daily rehearsals will be distributed on the first full day of rehearsal. The week will end with two performances of HANSEL AND GRETEL on Saturday, August 9, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Falls Area Performing Arts Center. Tickets may be purchased at the PAC Box Office prior to each performance. This event is sponsored by the Oconto Falls Friends of the Arts as part of their Seventh Fine Arts Series and sponsored in part by CenturyTel. Due to inadvertent deletion, no pics from the 8th annual “Cup” held last Saturday are available. Kidding, guys! Shirley took a lot and it’s gonna take me some time to edit, enhance and format for the site. So, stay tuned. I’ll start putting them together after my nap!

The Renzelmanns enjoyed fine weather during their stay last week on Kelly Lake at Wally’s “Sunset Cottages” (westside rentals). The 7-piece “OK Band” will be performing at Kelly Lake’s VIZ Bar this Saturday, the 12th, 3 PM to 7 at an adjoining outdoor tent. Smokin’ chicken, etc will be served along with polkas, waltz and other great music. See ya smokin’ and a pokaing at the festival! Roger
