Shimmering moonrise on Kelly Lake
If you could condense all the ripples of the reflection from the moonrise, you’d have a mirror image of the moon on Kelly Lake. But, the shimmering is a picture in itself! Roger (Photo by Shirley Birr)

Clouds loom threatening as the sun comes up this fall AM. Contrails from jets cross the sky, seemingly close as they passed by one-another. Roger (Photo by Shirley Birr)
Don’t you just wonder the history and owners of this fishing boat? Perhaps a grandpa teaching his grandkids fishing for bluegills; baiting hooks with worms; pressing on weights; setting the bobber for the right depth; the kids learning the art. Kind of a romantic vision I got from the photo Shirley took. Roger (Photo by Shirley Birr at Long Lake)
