Kelly Lake’s Greg Levar and son, Jeff, escorts their pack to a surprise visit here at Birr’s Eye View. Greg called ahead of time to allow us to get ready for the invasion of 17 cold riders (it was -31 when they woke this AM and began their ride from the Crivitz area). Hot chocolate with a touch of Dr. McGillicuddy’s warmed their bodies. Shirley did a photo shoot of the rough riders in this bitterly cold weather. It was nice to see familiar faces (a bit rosy!) at a time of solitude here in da nort’! Enjoyed their visit. Rog and Shirley.

Contact Jerimiah Vizelka to plow and open your driveway. He’s resonable and just did ours. 920.373.7961. Roger

Shirley restocking bird feeders at Birr’s Eye View while the snow just isn’t stopping! The birds find it hard fending for themselves with the snow and cold here. What a winter! We’re both hi-Birr-nating through it! It seems it has already been a long winter with spring a long time away! Rog

This from Don Moss who now has a cottage on White Potato Lake (about 11 miles north of Kelly Lake). Don and family were longtime renters here at Kelly. They continue to view Kelly Lake via the web site. This winter has been a dandy, too! Roger
I am sending this because of the 1947 snow storm pictures. You think we get lots of snow now, but back then it was really a lot. I remember that snow storm. I was a senior in high school. Be sure you click on the line below the snow picture. Don
