Trophy awards/trophies as follows:
Best time for the course: “Biner” Neubaur and crew on the “USS Korregated Kelly”.
Second fastest: “SS Optimist Prime” by the McGills.
Third fastest: The “Deception” by Tyler Darby.
Admiral”s Choice Award” (best design):
First place: Biner’s “USS KORREGATED KELLY”
“Admiral’s Choice Award/Trophy” Second place: “SS Optimist Prime” by the McGills.
“Admiral’s Choice” award/trophy Third place: “SS Darby ‘ by Drew and Nash Darby.
“Titanic Award/Trophy” for best sinking: “Dolphin” by the Aherns.
“Hey, Del? What? You’re riding a sub? We don’t think so! Once a clown, always a clown!”
Tuitanic Award/Trophy” Second place: Del Darby in “”Hope I Float”! (Editor’s comment: Del’s entry was so small, it looked like Del was trying to put 10 gallons in a five gallon bucket! What was he thinking?! Roger)
“Titanic Award/Trophy” Third place: “Raina” piloted by Raina Gerrit. (Editor’s comment: Raina was such a lightweight that she went very fast downwind, but couldn’t make it back into the wind and continued to drift out to sea before her dad could come to her rescue!)
