Da wife and me ain’t no pansies! Sitting an’ waitin’ it out through Snowstorm Allison!
Up here in da sticks, don’t ja know, eh, we are tough! Notin, not even da wetter, don’t ja know, eh, can keep da nortwoods’ folks down. Here am I, don’t ja know, sitting out 25-degrees and dat dare snow and 30 wind, don’t ja know? But, da wife and me make da best of it; we snuggle up and say, “Dis ain’t so bad, hunny,” don’t ja know, eh?

Snowstorm Allison!
Yes, the first major snowstorm, Allison, is commencing! 8 to 12″ are expected, with 30+ mph winds. It’s quite cold as I write (23.9*) with the wind picking up and the snowfall increasing. Looks like an old-fashion snow storm; seems an early one in a number of years. Snowblower’s been fired up and ready to go. There’s a sense of excitment, these first couple storms! But, that’ll wear off! Roger
