I love the seasons: Sumner, of course, my favorite, followed by spring with the return of birds, budding of flowers, and the return of familiar faces opening up their cottages and other preparation work for summer.
I love fall because it’s a time to reflect, relax and enjoy the peacefulness and even solitude with the beauty of the changing colorful leaves and the coming of Thanksgiving; getting together with family.
Talking of solitude, winter is also one of my favorite times of the year with the coming of the first snow, Christmas and the New Year, again spending it with family. It’s a time to catch up on m,y reading and even some writing, if the muse grabs me.
I love the seasons were blessed with living in Wisconsin, and especially on Kelly Lake! So, if you’re a late riser, or unable to catch a sunrise, Shirley did it for you! Roger
