First Snowstorm!
Windy wintry weather; rain/sleet/ice/snow; a generous accumulation of heavy snow blanketed the ground with several inches while piling-up in drifts (high winds and gusts to 40) as we spent the evening cozy and warm witnessing this season’s first significant snowstorm.
It’s snowing steady as I speak…supposed to snow all day!…could see around 9″ total by this evening. The coming week looks good; partly cloudy and highs about 30.
Ah yes, it’s awesome watching a snowstorm, especially the first! I’m even looking forward to getting the snowthrower out and blowing this wintry weather mix out of my way. But, that’ll grow old fast! Roger
