The Kelly Lake Levars have been re-enacting Kelly Lake’s version of the “Survivor” show here at Kelly Lake for 16 years. Shirley has been official photographer, and I am one of the judges.
It is grueling… Before the games begin, rules are read, release forms signed, introduction of players—old and new—announced, and Biner’s Boomers set the stage setting off the rockets red glare as the National Anthem is played as fly-by with Levar’s boat sporting the American flag, and with the lighting of the “torch”, commences the “Cup”!
Be that as it may, perhaps Jeff Levar and others can tag the names to save my energy!
I trust the pictures will speak a thousand words of the events; new ones added every year in exchange of the old events—how they come up with the various challenges is amazing! It’s a brain, brawn and athletic challenge.
After the cup challenge it was time to eat, relax and unwind, heading out on the pontoons for a cruise and swim in the cove. Another great time with friends and fun! Roger
