Sunny sky and temps reaching near 50 makes one feel winter is seeing its demise as we near Spring, merely a couple weeks away. However, the warmth is being driven-up by strong winds, making the wind-chill the opposing element—I’d rather give up 10-degrees for no wind!
However, the good news is that the wind drives the warmth into the snow, melting it away at a faster rate. Of course, we’re far from being out of the woods, as winter often rebounds with a couple of death-thros in March and April before it gives up the ghost, and Spring is revived.
Tomorrow, Sunday, remains warm with temps in the 50s! However clouds are expected to move in. To keep and eye on the lake as the weather comes and goes, check out kellylake.net’s web cam. Roger
