Weather permitting, this Tuesday, May 3, 2016 the aquatic herbicide Diquat will be applied to approximately 1.5 acres on Kelly Lake. The treatment will begin between 6 A.M. and 7 A.M. and will take most of the day to complete.
The applicator, Schmidt’s Aquatic Plant Control, will post warning signs at the landings and near the properties that are within 150 feet of the treatment areas prior to treatment.
Since the treatment requires the full attention of the applicator, we request that you allow the applicator to stay focused on the job at hand and to not interrupt the process with numerous questions.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Brenda Nordin, Water Resource Management Specialist at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, (920) 662-5141.
