If you were waiting for the warm summer nights to cruise, hot humid days to cool off on the water, AND both days and nights to swim, well you had to wait for the first weekend of fall!
Though we had warm days this summer, the nights cooled off rapidly. There were hardly, if any, sustaining summer-like days without one wave after another of rain and/or cool weather. But that changed last week as we entered the fall season…though, you’d never have guessed it, with the sunny hot humid 90-degree days and warm summer nights!
Rain is expected to move in, although this morning welcomed a beautiful sunrise, mild, with temp about 70! However, it’s about to take a turn to more fall-like weather staring tomorrow.
On top of it, the water is still quite warm after the hot spell. We spent the weekend enjoying it, floating on our rafts, lazily enjoying these last remnants of summer, held over into fall!
Kathy and Shirley!
Alas, all-and-all, we had a great summer despite the lack of sun and abundance of rain. Roger
