Snagged this from Dave’s FB from when they were in Key West recently. Awesome shot deserving a POTD recognition!
Dave posted, “Was from our balcony in Key West, This last Oct. When I looked at the photo later I almost dropped the camera. LOL”

Many of you out there know what it’s like to lose a family pet; he/she had become a member of your family. We lost, Sadie, our English springer spaniel several years ago after being a member of our family for 14 years—she was 6-weeks-old when she moved in.
Well, our long time dear friends, Jim and Holly Pecard, lost Tucker recently; we feel their sorrow. They’ve vacationed here at Kelly Lake for years, and Jim grew up near Viz’s Bar. Holly was my nurse while I spent 5 months at St. Vincent’s Hospital in ’89; Jim is a psychologist; we became and remain close friends through the years. Tucker was a familiar family member when we visited; always gentle and welcoming.
Their son, Matt, took this outstanding photo of Tucker; selected the POTD (Picture Of The Day). Click to enlarge.
Other photos I found:
Tucker and Holly.
We know how much Jim and Holly, their sons, Matt and Jim III love and grieve after Tucker’s passing; we all know it’s coming, but reality is difficult. It seemed like an emptiness for quite some time when we lost Sadie. Shirley and I often vacillate about getting another dog; it would probably be another spaniel; perhaps again, when we’re not so much on the go. Roger
